South Hero Fire District 4 is a separate municipality within the town of South Hero, Vermont. The geographic boundaries of the Fire District were defined at formation in 1989 and do not encompass the entire town of South Hero and the Fire District serves approximately 350 connections with potable water.

The Fire District meets at 7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month, unless conflicts arise, and has an annual meeting on the first Tuesday of October each year. Watch for public warnings posted at the South Hero Post Office, Robinson’s Hardware and Keeler’s Bay Variety. Monthly meetings take place at the water plant at 28 Hill Rd, the annual meeting takes place at the South Hero Town Offices.
